Songwriting Support

In this course we'll take a look at various ways to approach writing songs.
This is a group support and processing class. Everyone participates and should bring
a song or a partial song to the group. You don't need to play an instrument.

Discussions & Exercises on:
where do songs come from?
what comes first? lyric? melody? rhythmn?
ways to cope with writer's block
unlocking lyical roadblocks
creating inner rhythmns
breaking free of musical patterns
expanding musical knowledge

The general idea is to leave the group with more songwriting tools and skills than when you came.
